Timberland Service Projects





The NBA and The Timberland Company initiative is dedicated to community service and volunteerism and based on a shared commitment to giving back to families and communities around the world.

The partnership tipped off on November 5, 2009 with a hands-on community service event in Philadelphia, Pa. During the NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service In February 12, 2010, more than 100 volunteers renovated five homes on Macon Street in Dallas, TX. This project, hosted in partnership with Rebuilding Together Dallas and Timberland, featured local volunteers as well as current and former NBA and WNBA players working together on a variety of home improvement tasks.
